3D printing a fidget spinner that uses pennies for weights
I wanted a fidget spinner that used pennies instead of bearings as weights and I found a cool design for one on thingiverse. I loaded this model into Cura and created a gcode file based on normal quality settings and solid density and it printed very nicely on my Monoprice maker select V2.
This model is designed well and the pennies fit very snug but it is difficult to get the pennies in there. Tapping them in with a hammer makes it easy. This model requires a total of 15 pennies and one skateboard bearing.
