Nestronic: Completed case, buttons, and Blaster Master!
The Nestronic finally has a completed enclosure, with an input board and buttons that have a familiar layout. Here's demo showing menu navigation, a sound effect, and another VGM playback session.
The ultimate goal of this project is a hardware VGM (video game music) player that can also double as an alarm clock. There may be a few more iterations on the enclosure, but this is the general idea.
The system is based off the NES CPU (RP2A03) for audio synthesis and the ESP32 microcontroller on the front-end.
