[3DS] How To Boot & Use PastaCFW
PastaCFW is a newer Nintendo 3DS custom firmware that uses an arm9 payload to launch into a sysNAND custom firmware. If you know what PBT-CFW is, this is pretty much
the same thing, except it works on 9.2 and New 3DS! Those are the two main features.
It supports the following firmwares:
Old 3DS v4.1 - 4.5
Old 3DS v8.0 - 8.1
Old 3DS v9.0 - 9.2
New 3DS v9.0 - 9.2
Since it uses Ninjhax (BRAHMA) to boot, the installation instructions are the same for the New 3DS. Repeat these steps each time you want to boot into the CFW!
--TUTORIAL--
1) Download the PastaCFW & BRAHMA files.
2) Unzip them to the root of your SD Card.
3) Eject your SD Card, and insert it into your 3DS.
4) Start up Cubic Ninja, go to Create -- QR Code
4a) If Ninjhax is not installed, install it: http://smealum.net/ninjhax/
4b) Make sure everything is working properly on Ninjhax.
5) Boot the BRAHMA application.
6) Click "Load ARM9 payload"
7) Select the payload we just put on your SD Card. (arm9payload.bin)
8) Click "A"
9) Click "Run ARM9 Payload"
10) Choose your 3DS's firmware
11) Click "Start"
12) You're now in PastaCFW! Use steps 4 through 11 each time you want to boot PastaCFW.
