Blood and Bone Maroon
in 2022, Rupert was asked to write some words for Queensland's State of Origin campaign. He spoke to coaches Billy Slater and Tahnee Norris, went away and came back with a piece titled Blood & Bone Maroon. This is how it was recited to the players of both Origin teams on the eve of battle.
