How to open a small safe if the passcode isn't working anymore and the key is lost

This safe or safety box refused to open with the usual code and was making a beeping sound. The battery indicator wasn't on so the batteries should still have juice.
The key was no more available so we had to open it another way.
It turns out, all you need to do to unhinge the lock is to bounce it off a sof surface and turn the lock at the same time.
That shows that if this kind of safe isn't bolted to a concrete wall, anyone can open it within seconds.
