Rank 2 German Tanks - Experience Grinding - War Thunder - Ground Forces - Episode 3
I've thought I'd take a break from the Russian tank line and get a bit more grinding going on my Panzers in the German tech tree.
Currently my main tank is a fully upgraded Pz.Kpfw. 4 Ausf. L2 with the 75 mm KwK40 L43 cannon which is a pretty good gun at this tier. And I'm researching the Pz.Kpfw. 3 Ausf. L which is mounting the 50 mm KwK39 gun that I want to test out.
As a general gameplay experience you can notice a big difference between the German and the Russian tanks, in terms of survivability and sturdiness. Even though the German tanks have generally stronger armor and some of them even mount spaced armor, they easily get critical module and crew damage with almost every shot, which makes playing them ridiculously frustrating at times, as you can see towards the end of the video.
On the other hand, the Russian tanks, especially the T-28 which is currently a beast, will take tremendous amounts of fire without getting disabled, and you can see that in a special test I've made just to prove this point (2:03 - 2:15).
All in all, I do enjoy playing this game a lot better than WoT so I'll be continuing to make videos on it, and as I learn more I'll share whatever knowledge I have with you, since this can be a difficult game to get into.
I encourage all of you skeptics out there who are on the fence about trying this out, just go ahead download it, install it and play it, it's completely free, you're not loosing anything, and if you don't like it you can always uninstall it later. If you love World of Tanks but you are frustrated about it being too static/campish and unrealistic, you're gonna enjoy WT for sure.
