Siberian bugloss - false forget-me-not/how to grow/shade perennials/ jack frost/brunnera macrophylla
Do you live in gardening zone 3 or 4 and get frustrated with perennial options? This is a great option for you if you've got a partial shade or shade area in your garden. Not only does brunnera macrophylla flaunt it's silvery foliage from Spring to Fall, it shoots out delicate sprays of forget-me-not-like tiny blue flowers in the Springtime! I think that's my favorite thing about it.
In Greek, "bugloss" translates into "ox tongue" which refers to the rough texture that the foliage has. This texture makes it deer resistant and slug resistant!
