This is a staple Middle Eastern 'Bread" called 'Cake for Supper' similar to the Western Pretzel baked with MAHLAB spice and eaten with cheeses or Thyme/Oregano herbs in the morning or evening and often considered as a meal rather than a snack.
This recipe works well in a home oven and tastes like authentic street kaak...
