My PCIe Retention Clip Fell Off! Uhm... Do I Need It?
Those little plastic (or sometimes metal) retention clips at the bottom of the motherboard's PCIe slot can be really ANNOYING - especially if they get stuck and are locking your graphics card in place.
One time my RX 6700XT GPU got stuck and while trying to fix it, the retention clip came off completely! Uhm... that sucks.
But it raises an obvious question: do you actually need it? I answer that question in this video, along with covering a few other things that you need to know.
