Expediting Ports
You just secured the perfect phone number and you want to get it over to your account with your phone provider right away. You call up your provider and they get to work on porting the number in on your behalf. The problem is they give you a port date that's farther out than 7 business days - is this right?
Porting typically takes about 5-7 business days to complete, but there are instances where providers are inundated with port requests leading to longer expected port times. Although there’s no guarantee, an expedite request is an option and worth the shot. This video explains what you need to do.
