How I Make: A Keepsake/Tea Box
In this video I took inspiration from John Maleckis version of a tea box that he took from Mike Pekovich book The Why and How of Woodworking. I used walnut for the walls and detail pieces and maple for the top, bottom and inserts. I used finger joints instead of dovetails since I've never attempted either I started with what I felt would be easier. This was a really fun woodworking project and I hope you enjoy the video.
