Re opened in April 2021 by European Bartender of the Year Matt Whiley and it has since been noted as the world’s first permanent no-waste bar.
The bar has also recently been ranked as the 46th best bar in The World's 50 Best Bars.
Underpinning everything they do is an ethos of reducing, reusing and recycling.
Everything on the menu is made in-house from either cosmetically blemished or surplus produce salvaged from local markets, like this Lyre’s Autumn Americano created by Evan Stroeve using lemon juice, beetroot & cherry tomatoes.
Matt Whiley aims for Re to be 100% waste-free and act as a blueprint for how bars can operate in the future.
