Chapter One – 1945. While planning for what most thought would be a peaceful post-war world, major disagreements between the Western Allies and the Soviets emerged at Yalta and Potsdam. Tensions rose. The impact of the United States deploying "Little Boy" and "Fat Man" over Hiroshima and Nagasaki would only amplify suspicions, ultimately giving birth to a climate of Soviet paranoia. The Cold War had begun.
