Years ago I thought of an art concept: Depressionism. The name speaks for itself.
There are number of tracks dedicated to this concept in my playlist:

From the performance point of view I guess I’ve find a good combination between three gain/overdrive pedals here: Strymon Riverside, Zephyr FX Lo-Fi Radio (Hudson Broadcast clone) and Strymon Iridium. This setting was very sensitive to playing dynamics so that I could easily reach from clean to heavily overdriven sound with only adding a bit more pressure to the right hand.
The first delay I used was the Strymon Volante with a good amount of Mechanics to mimic old magnetic tape. I added even more wobbling effect with small bends in the left hand – it gave me that feel of worn unstable and floating cassette tape.
The second slight delay was the Strymon Timeline's Reverse with no repeats just to add some dreamy backward licks.
All the delay time was synced with Morningstar FX MC6 midi controller.
Strymon Riverside: Low Gain, Norm Push, Drive to 13:30
Zephyr Lo-Fi Radio: Gain: 9:00, Bass: 13:30, Level: 8:30
Strymon Iridium: Amp Round, Cab C, Drive 10:00
