Testing Hybrid Frippertronics
This is a short compilation of me testing a Hybrid Frippertronics technique. This technique lets you use only one tape recorder instead of two, but the essence of the approach remains the same – you deal with analogue sound-on-sound tape live looping.
The tests sound very promising to me – lots of analogue cassette tape texture, more control.
To enhance the effect I cut some pieces of my playing in DAW, made some cleaning and mastering and rerecorded it back to tape.
