Solving Systems of Equations in Mathcad Prime
In PTC Mathcad Prime, you can solve linear, nonlinear, and differential systems of equations. The first two will be approached in this short clip.
To solve linear systems of equations, we work with a solving function, lsolve, to quickly find the solution.
To solve nonlinear systems of equations, we use the solve block feature, which is an extremely powerful and flexible construct demonstrated in the video.
Once you understand the solve block structure, you can feel comfortable applying solve blocks engineering design problems, as shown by the end of the video when solving for a minimum pipe diameter.
