I'm adding two inputs to the Raspberry Pi-based prototype system seen in previous episodes: an MCP9808 precision temperature sensor and a PCF8523 Real Time Clock. Both are distributed by Adafruit and interfaced via an I2C bus. Configuring the bus and sensors is quite simple and can be done entirely from the command line.
