A short film created for the One Night Stand (ONS) film competition hosted by the Independent Filmmakers Coalition of Kansas City. The ONS is a 10-hour timed filmed competition, where filmmakers have 10 hours to shoot, edit and deliver a 5-minute short film. Filmmakers are provided with a theme, prop/object and line of dialogue. This year's theme (2016) was "loss of innocence." The prop was a computer. The line of dialogue was "I guess I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue."

"The Untitled Johanna Lee Project" took first place in the competition and Johanna Lee won Best Actress. The version seen here is slightly different from the one that screened the night of the competition. The film was shot on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera in ProRes HQ utilizing the "Film" setting for Dynamic Range. In order to make the deadline, the original short film was exported without color correction, music or even the opening film title. The edit originated in Premiere and was "roundtripped" to Davinci Resolve for color correction and grading. IMPULZ LUTS from (Kodak 5219 500T and 5207 250D) were used.

Ten hours is an incredibly short time time to deliver a 5-minute short film. It is quite a challenge. There are production errors, but all things considered, I am quite pleased with the final result. We had a terrific cast and crew that made it all happen successfully.
