Demonstrates a variety of ways the Immediate IF (IIF) function can be used in Microsoft Access. Whether for time saving, or error prevention or reformatting data for presentation, the IIF function is very versatile!
Immediate IF is named differently than IF because an ending END IF isn't used. IIF is designed for everything (condition, value-if-true, value-if-false) to be in one statement.
This video has been resurrected from an older Access tutorial series by DataPigTechnologies. Even though Access looks different now, the concepts and functionality persist. Thanks to owner, Mike Alexander, for making these videos available for presentation once again. Thanks also to Jack Drawbridge and John Clark for helping get these valuable lessons back online.
