Project MUGEN: Don't Hug Me I'm Scared
Well Nmorge's Luke Skywalker has been finally released! And was it worth it? Take a wild guess.
Character bashed: Luke Skywalker (WlanmaniaX)
Holy fucking christ this is horrifying, his portrait almost gave me a heart attack. Other than that, it's your basic crappy MUGEN character. His sprites are horrendous, being enlarged sprites from Super Star Wars. (And the custom ones are crappily edited) His collisions are horrible, one of his supers and his Han Solo helper hit way too high to hit anyone except maybe really tall characters like Destroyous and Final from The Black Heart, and his blaster's collision box is friggin' huge. Also, why does he literally have two projectiles? (Three if you count Solo and Chewy's help) And whatever you do, Do NOT give him enough space to use all of his moves. This is that type of Wlanman/Beanfan character that has a really cheap move that likes to spam when they have the opportunity to. Well, enough rambling about that.
Character used: Neo (I honestly forgot who made this)
A MUCH better movie-based character, first of all, he's plays pretty smoothly and is overall a pretty stable character (Even though he doesn't have a crouching or jumping hard punch). His sprites are custom, and pretty good (Even if they sometimes look awkward and the shading is sometimes inconsistent, but not in the way George's shading is inconsistent, hell no.) But best of all, he follows the movie pretty accurately and has moves you would expect Neo to have. I think I'll just leave it at this, at least Neo's portrait doesn't make him look like a mutated ape.
