In this episode of Civil Visualizing with Sam, I take a SketchUp base model of a diverging diamond (DDI) project in Florida exported from ORD (Openroads Designer) into Sketchup and then into Civil Engine as a .obj file. This is sort of a speed run since I had done a lot of the work previous. I show how to import and texture base models, place assets, use Paths, set up cameras, use Explorer Mode and much more.
This took about 3.5 hours, but most of that was individually placing trees since we don't yet have a brush tool.
Civil Engine is coming to the public in Spring 2025
