Where is the Thyroid gland and what does it do?
The thyroid gland is a small butterfly shaped gland located in the front of your neck area.
It is in front of the trachea, also known as your windpipe, below the Adams apple.
1 in 10 people suffer from a thyroid disorder.
1 in 8 women will develop a thyroid disorder during their lifetime.
