Binary and hex – how computers work #2
How do computers count? What are binary numbers? What about hexadecimal?
In these series of videos I try and answer basic questions like this about computers in a way that everyone should be able to follow. This is the second video in this series.
I designed and built an educational kit called Retcon to help people learn more about computers by building one and in this series of videos I'll use it to walk viewers through how a simple computer works. At some point soon I'll also be releasing the kits to the public to give you the chance to learn this stuff by getting your hands dirty.
