Latin American Collaborative Solutions to World Problems - Emilio Velis
The AWEsome Business Competition is proud to present Emilio Velis. Emilio is one of MIT's top 8 innovators under 35 years old in Central America. He came to Humboldt County, California from San Salvador, El Salvador to present on Latin American Collaborative Solutions to World Problems.
He has been part of many amazing projects especially working together with rural communities to meet pressing needs. Sometimes the solutions are high tech, sometimes low tech, often entrepreneurship driven, and always participatory!
This was our kick-off talk, part of a series of talks and workshops hosted by the AWEsome Business Competition - a new, local, entrepreneurship competition (with cash prizes) for ventures related to Agriculture, Water, and Energy.
