HOW CAN I COPY AND PASTE THE POSITION OF THE SHAPES IN POWERPOINT? 🤔
When you’re creating your slides, unless you have the exact same element across the entire presentation, it can be difficult to align new headers, page numbers, design elements, and more to the exact position on each slide without some tedious effort.
You could go up and down from slide to slide trying to guess the right position with micro-adjustments until they stop moving: but this can take so much time.
Or you could use the copy/paste position of the MLC PowerPoint Add-in.
Hi, my name is Maurizio La Cava, I am the founder of Lean Presentation Design and in this video I’ll show you how to use this useful feature.
Now you might think “Why do I need to Copy/Paste Position, if I can just make a Slide Master? And create a Placeholder there?”
Well, you can! But what if the objects you need to have in the same position are very different in color, shape, text, or size dimensions?
Here we are! You really need the Copy/Paste Position! We are welcoming you to watch the video and learn how to use this function.
First, select the graph you wish to use as a reference, then go to the MLC menu and navigate to the advanced copy/paste tab.
Select the position copy and you will now have told PowerPoint to store the position of the selected shape.
Head to the other slides and select the second diagram.
Go to the other slides and select the elements you want to take the same position as the shape you used as a reference in the first slide.
Lastly, go to MLC - paste position and in one click you will have applied the position copied from the first slide to the others without error.
