JBSA ECMO team save service member's life
For an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation team, Martin Luther King Jr. weekend was spent travelling to save a naval service member's life.
On January 18, a three person joint ECMO team from Brooke Army Medical Center and the 959th Medical Group at Joint Base San Antonio travelled to Naval Medical Center San Diego in order to transport a critically ill patient suffering from COVID-19 complications.
