Measuring Stomach Ulcer Area with ImageJ Software
In the video procedure, I have explained how to dissect the stomach and capture an image with a ruler scale. This image is then imported into ImageJ software to measure the length and width of the ulcer, considering the maximum and minimum diameters of each ulcer. The final step involves calculating the mean of these two diameters to obtain the final diameter of each ulcer injury. From this diameter, the radius can be easily calculated, and using the formula for the area of a circle (πr²), the area can be determined.
