CBL-Mariner running XFCE
As you may know, a few weeks ago I showed you how to create your very own CBL-Mariner image. And, as you have seen in that video, this distro is really empty. Like... oddly empty.
To get XFCE (which as everyone knows is one of the more lightweight desktop managers) I had to download over 20GB of prerequisites. This includes libraries and various dependencies that XFCE needs.
If you would ask me to do it again, I don't know if I could make it work...
It's more about the time that you can waste on such a project and the will to fix each and every little library that most normal Linux distros already have.
But it was fun!
