Heavy rain turns Hawaii stream into torrent.
A recent hike after a week of exceptionally heavy rainfall saw the stream I'm trying to buy turned torrential enough that I couldn't cross it. For relative reference, I could comfortably ford this stream in most places two weeks earlier.
