How many times have you wished that you had a dump station at home? If you like to Boondock or stay at National and State parks, there is a good likelihood that you will have to face the dreaded nasty dump station, and it is especially bad at checkout times. This is my eighth RV, so I know that feeling... someone used it and didn't clean up, or you're waiting in line while a newbie tries to figure out how to dump. Well...

In this video, I did what I have been wanting to do for years - I installed my own dump station at home. Basically, it was not that expensive:

(Note: I have an Amazon Affiliate store. That means you don't pay a cent more by using my links, but Amazon pays me a (very) small commission for recommending them.)

Tank and pump kit: $449 (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3NldTHQ)
Labor to dig the hole: $130
Misc. plumbing supplies $120
6/3 wire (20'): $130
Quad 50-50 breaker: $69
RV 50amp Box: $37 (Amazon: https://amzn.to/42sKekl)
Electrician: $400

Total: $1335 (I already had the hookup box, so mine was $1300.
