Hollow Halloween (Original Song)
In October, my friend Henry came over and we wrote a Halloween song de novo, starting from scratch and building up a song in mostly a single session. (I lost some recordings and we didn't quite finish, so I added the box guitar the next day.) The "music video" was filmed just after Halloween with a Jack O' Lantern that Lisa and I carved. It's a single take and the touch sensitive lamp is being triggered by the things hitting the pumpkin.
After song writing, we recorded the tracks in sets of instruments using a live-mixed set up (not multitrack recording). Maybe not the best set up, but a fun song-writing process nevertheless.

I mixed it after the session and added a few additional percussion elements and light vocal backing, too. We were considering doing more with it, so kind of put it on hold. It's a bit out of season now, but wanted to journal it here as the year comes to a close.
