Teaching Appropriate Protests
We incorporate protests and advocacy as early as possible!
It helps to replace challenging behavior. They can learn early to use their words to get out of things or to protest.
It’s also an important safety skill. Our students need to be able to say when something doesn’t feel right!
This program systematically builds the protesting skill with lots of role-play and eventually incorporates tolerance and delay.
