INTIMACY & HIDRADENITIS SUPPURATIVA
Hidradenitis Suppurativa is a painful chronic auto inflammatory disease that causes boil like abscesses anywhere there is a hair follicle. Because of HS I have flare areas in some of the most common (buttocks, groin, underarms) and not so common (behind the ear, face, lower abdomen) which has always being intimate a rough patch.
Just recently I had an experience that left me feeling uneasy that I share here with you all and what it is like living with HS and having intimate experiences.
