Playing Chess - Introduction | Pieces and Board
This is the first video in a series intended to teach the game of chess. In this video, we introduce the chess pieces and the chessboard. We explain how the board should be positioned between the players as well as how the pieces should be placed on the board at the start of the game.
The square coordinates for chess notation and keeping score are also explained.
