This is a visual how-to care guide for spandex fabric. This video highlights how to take proper care of spandex clothing and garments in your closet.
Basic characteristics of spandex -
Elastic type fibre
Can be stretched and returns to its original shape
Lightweight and strong
Resistant to abrasion from body oils, detergents and sweat
Care Instructions -
Washing instructions - Spandex is machine washable in cold water.
Drying instructions - Spandex clothing should be hanged to dry or machine dried on low.
Ironing instructions - Iron on low temperature.
While taking care of spandex fabric it is important to note -
Don’t use bleach
Don’t use fabric conditioner
Note - As best practice, always follow the garment’s care label for exact instructions. If there isn’t one, just follow this guide & it will help your spandex fabric last longer.
