German Leopard 2 tanks are very powerful.
The Leopard 2 tank features a torsion bar-sprung track system with support rollers, multi-plate dampers, and hydraulic and mechanical end stops, which are mounted above the swing arms of the road wheel pairs. The end connector tracks are tensioned, i.e., "live." The Leopard 2 tank track pads of type 570 F and later FT are replaceable and supplied by the manufacturer Diehl. To improve the traction of the tracks, especially when driving on ice and snow, the 18 track pads on each side can be replaced with cast iron snow grippers.
