Spokes: These are the networks that connect to the hub. Each spoke can represent a different workload, business unit, or environment. They rely on the hub for shared services and access to other spokes or external networks.
The benefits of this model include cost savings through centralized service management, overcoming subscription limits by peering workload virtual networks from different subscriptions to a central hub, and instituting a separation of concerns between central IT teams and workload teams1.
