He is absolutely right, always be sure to pot up when a plant becomes root bound. He was showing me a plant the HE purchased for me at @PlantCon Dallas.
I was serving as a volunteer at that time. Once I linked back up with my family I was pleasantly surprised with a Dracaena sanderiana (Lucky Bamboo) that my 5 year old son bought for me with his own money!
This is now my favorite plant of all time! I am fortunate to have such a wonderful and loving family.
