Bruno Gröning – Lecture in Springe, October 4th, 1958 – Part 5
In this fifth part of the lecture Bruno Gröning compares the human to a container – a preserving jar or a milk jug. He emphasizes that the human being can only absorb the good once he has separated himself from the bad. Otherwise the good cannot work in him. Like a milk can that was not cleaned properly. If fresh milk is poured into this dirty can, it will spoil within a short time and be undrinkable. The can has to be clean so that the milk in it can stay fresh. The same with the human being. If he wants to receive the good, his health, and wants to keep it, he has to be clean, he has to first separate himself from the bad, from the illness. Then he can absorb the good and hold onto it by sealing himself against the bad, like a preserving jar.

Gradually, the Bruno Gröning Circle of Friends publishes Bruno Gröning's original lectures. Bruno Gröning held these lectures within the small circles of his communities and mostly in front of Christians. This is why he sometimes also spoke of Christ and pointed to him. Because today these lectures are translated into many different languages and are made accessible to people of all religions, the Circle of Friends decided to leave out these rather short passages.
The intention is to make the teaching of Bruno Gröning and help and healing on the spiritual path accessible to all people, regardless of religion. In order not to put up religious boundaries - according to Bruno Gröning's words:
"I don't ask about religion; I don't ask about the nation. It doesn't matter to which religion a person belongs. We cannot talk about one religious faith. We have to be more general, because they are all human beings; human beings, I always say, are Children of God." Bruno Gröning
