Creating a distributed render farm with blender
In this video tutorial we show you how to render in blender on multiple computers that are spread out over the internet. After watching this video you'll be able to create a free render farm by combining computers from you and your friends using dropbox to collect the resulting frames.
There are many blender render farm solutions out there, but this is one we used to get a project finished with a tight deadline. Our only option was distributed rendering, but our computers were all over the world so our only option was to see if a blender render could be done using dropbox.
