I know the sexist wolf whistle was something our femo foremothers strived hard to abolish but damn I miss hearing it.
We should be, and are, humbly thankful to the women of the 70s, 80s and 90s who burned their bras, grew body hair and fought hard to ensure we women of the naughties could have it all -- babies, mortgages, good careers -- but did they need to take it so far as stopping ruggedly handsome, muscled and tanned workman from verbally showing their appreciation for the female form?
