Following the release of Toshio Matsuura' 2014 Blue Note Project "HEX", MENACE comes back with another instalment, this time focusing on the sessions of "Hello To The Wind", a Joe Chamber ballad issued on the first album, featuring folk vocalist Grey Reverend (Bonobo, Cinematic Orchestra).
In addition to the two unreleased takes - the instrumental "Z Groove", and the ambiant "Starry Version" - Matsuura-san and Mido invites Paris-based producer Hugo LX to rework the song, giving birth to a bass and piano driven electronic "Purple Version », and a aerial, jazzy-house "Turquoise Version" starring Kansas City trumpeter Hermon Mehari.
