OMME 2750 Tracked Lift FAILS to lift
2023 has arrived and Seattle Tree Care is bringing in the new year with a new Vermeer AX17. We can't wait to show you a comparison video of it against its siblings. However, before we jump too far ahead let's get to this episode of Seattle Arborist.
The new year finds crew lead, Chase, heading out to West Seattle with an Omme 2750 Tracked Lift in tow. The spider lift is one of the arborists' many tools to get up into canopies and above hedges. With its remote control and tracks, it can get into places bucket trucks can't. To say nothing of the fact, it looks really cool! This one is camera shy though and seems to be having performance issues forcing Chase to call in reinforcements.
While waiting for help to arrive, Chase takes this opportunity to train a new climber and an apprentice climber in Richard and Ryleigh. He walks through prusiks, climbing techniques, and rigging tips with his novice climbers while keeping an ever-watchful eye out for anything dangerous. Marcus arrives to fix the tracked lift just as he finishes bestowing some tree wisdom on his padawans.
