water ring on table
This is my favorite wood table that was purchased from 10,000 Villages about 15 years ago. While away on vacation, a failure of a coaster caused a water ring to mar this beautiful wood, so my patented repair procedure was needed. :)

This repair has worked on several spots from water damage in the past, and as you can see, it worked on this water spot that was several days old. Since the water stain is just in the finish, heating the finish allows the moisture to be released as the finish is re-liquified on the surface. A fresh application of the wood finish is recommended monthly, but after this work it is a good idea to do it right away.
The wood on this table is finished with a Beeswax & Orange Oil. This process may not work with all finishes.
