LABADEE, HAITI FOR THE DAY // ROYAL CARIBBEAN // 2024
Our cruise stop today was at Labadee, Haiti, which is privately leased & operated by Royal Caribbean. This was a very BEAUTIFUL stop. It looked and felt very much like paradise! There were 3-4 beaches you could rest and relax at and this area had quite a bit of fun activities for the family as well, including a splash pad for the littles, volleyball court, other fun games, a kickball billards ground game, water sports/activities, floating bars, day beds/lounge chairs, zip line over the water, alpine coaster, flee market and a free buffet lunch/juice/water. There are also a few hiking trails that take you around to see different parts of the coastline, these were very beautiful. If you like walking, it's very easy to walk around the entire area, otherwise, they also have trams that will take you all around as well. We did buy tickets to ride the alpine coaster known as the Dragon's Tail Coaster, which was a lot of fun! The workers were so friendly and let us ride the coaster a few times with our single ride pass. We all had a fun day! Out of all our our cruise stops, this one was the sunniest and warmest, so be sure to bring sunscreen and items to cover up! This is a great resort to enjoy, certainly no need to have an excursion booked for this stop.
