Body Lymphatic Drainage - Practical Class
Hello! In this video, I demonstrate how lymphatic drainage should be performed according to current scientific evidence.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a technique used to stimulate the lymphatic system to work more quickly and efficiently.
The function of lymphatic drainage is to move lymph accumulated in the interstitium into the lymphatic vessels and direct them to the lymph nodes. This stimulation reduces edema.
The procedure also improves overall circulation, relaxes the body, and can subtly combat localized fat, as the massage increases local metabolism (SOARES, 2005).
