These ain't OTKs, but they were some fun decks I enjoyed playing during the brawl. There were a few more highlights that I decided not to put in (Weapon Warrior and Beetle Rogue).
I haven't had as much time to do these Hearthstone videos anymore due to personal stuff. Normally, I would do majority of my stuff on the weekends, but as it currently stands, I like to visit my family (since I recently moved away). As a result, I do not have access to my computer to make such videos. Thus, I have to make videos during the weekdays and that ends up depending on how busy I am with school work. As such, I will still attempt to upload, but there may be a few days missing. (Not to mention content becomes harder to make as more things get discovered).
Anyways, here is the stuff:
I honestly really liked this Tavern Brawl a lot. There were a lot of cool decks to try out (even if they weren't as good). On top of that, it made for doing an experiment I've been desiring to do sooo much easier (which will appear in the next Experiments Video). Anyways, here are some highlights:
1) 0:05 - Armor Warrior
This game was really really long. Once I got like 60 armor in one turn, I knew this game was going the distance. And it did, every turn I gained like 20 armor and my opponent would do like 5 - 30 damage each turn. The idea was to win slowly with slams but when the opponent turned into a warrior and gained armor, it eventually just led to a tie.
2) 0:46 - Armor Druid
Using the power of Gadgetzan and a bunch of armor gain. I guess my opponent didn't want to bother as I gained about 50 armor each turn.
3) 1:56 - Discount Mage
This deck was honestly really fun. Eventually, I traded Rafaam for other cards as usually the big minion itself was enough to win the game. More effective units like Bonemare or other minions proved rather useful. Fun to try with different minions.
4) 3:23 - Mecha'thun Warlock
One of the first decks I made, I fatigued with priest and it made me realize how Fatigue worked in this scenario. As a result, my first thought was to make a mecha'thun deck. Warlock seemed like a good answer to that.
5) 3:52 - Prismatic Lens Paladin
I ran into an Paladin that went this route when I was playing Mage. So I tried it with a few modifications and it worked well! Not as strong as some of the other decks though.
6) 5:14 - Denial Shudderwock Shaman
I was curious if I could make a complete denial deck to prevent the opponent from doing anything. Togwaggle was the answer to burn any card my opponent draws. Any attempt to kill me would also fail as the Shudderwocks would slowly kill my opponent and heal me to full health each turn.
7) 6:56 - Weasel Priest
Not much shown here, but my opponent had like 4 draw cards. Eventually, I was able to shuffle like 15 weasels into his deck to finally slowly kill him with Renos.
8) 7:45 - Weasel Hunter
Same concept as Priest. Use them weasels to deny the opponent their combo and delay recycling their cards until they are just worthless.
9) 8:58 - Hidden Rogue
Basically, stay hidden with stealth Valeera every single turn. A few turns, you will not have this option, and as a result, you will need to instead prep Vanish Sprint instead, which is still really useful. The armor from Valeera should help combat spells. Then, when you got enough, summon the Jade Golem Army to kill your opponent and repeat the cycle.
