The Snow has subsided for the time being, we had ourselves a rough few days, but with this score from the train, we are hoping it is a step in a new direction. Dutch is very anxious and believing that the gang is against him since his last idea of the Blackwater incident has placed everyone against him. My faith in him is as it always has been, but he seems to think that Hosea and myself are plotting against him. Hosea has said there is a good place to lie low for the time being down at a place called Horseshoe Overlook near a cattle town called Valentine. I rode with Hosea and Javier to get to the spot, I got a bit turned around thanks to Hosea's ramblings about me being a blockhead, perhaps it isn't all bluster. They say the best jokes all are ingrained with the truth.
