The Agile Narrative Is Falling Apart
Anyone who has followed this channel for a while will know that I'm not a fan of Agile. Now, it would appear that everything I've been saying about Agile is finally coming to pass. We'll be discussing the recent study that declares a 268% higher failure rate for projects that have been managed with an Agile methodology. However, I'm not going to be giving a one-sided argument. There are two sides to the story and I'll give giving you ALL sides.
Then, I'm going to discuss what all of this means for the web development jobs market and for project management generally. If I have time I'll also discuss the role that AI plays in all of this. Most importantly of all, I'm going to discuss how you, as a web developer, can profit from this new information.
This is an exciting time for web development. Tectonic plates are shifting beneath our feet. Everything that I've been saying about things like; Agile, DevOps, Rewrite Culture, third-party dependency etc is now becoming accepted norms across IT. Yes, my friends, the David Was Right files are in full formation. So, let's talk.
