When should you use them and my opinion?

I - "Real" offshore companies

🇺🇸 American LLCs

💡 When should you use them?
Information opacity? Legal aspect?
Starting a business?
Business in the US?

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 UK LLPs

💡 When to use them
Prestige?
Online banks?
Payment processors?
Backed by an already optimized structure?

🇪🇪 Estonia: TU / UU & OU

💡 When to use them
Living in Estonia, deciding to be a tax resident there?
Otherwise, little interest?

⚠️ What to watch out for

Notion of permanent establishment
Notion of economic substance (human resources, material resources, etc.)

II - "Classic" companies considered offshore

🇦🇩 Andorra

💡 When to use them
Is it tax-efficient, but very restrictive and expensive? * For retirees, those who want to live in Andorra?
Athletes, artists, those who will apply for passive residency?

🇦🇪 Dubai & the Emirates

💡 When to use them
When living in Dubai?
If you're starting out or are a small business?
If the majority of your clients/turnover, etc., are not from France?

🇮🇪 / 🇬🇧 Irish and UK LTDs

💡 When to use them
Almost never?

III - My strategies

Done for you
As a French tax resident
You'll always have a 30% flat tax
→ This is also why I use other strategies

The strategy I use?

→ A hybrid solution, with tax-neutral or traditional companies:
corporate income tax: only 15% or 3%
there is no tax on capital gains: neither on sales nor on investments (ETFs, bonds, cryptocurrencies, stocks, etc.)
and 0% tax on dividends: or only 5% if I am a French tax resident

→ Balance sheet?
I pay my corporate tax of 15% or 3%
I pay no tax on my capital gains
and I pay my dividends only where I am a tax resident

"This makes for a total tax rate of between 3% and 19%, regardless of where I am in the world 😉"
🔔 This is not suitable for everyone or for all activities
